Hopewell High School JROTC raised $24,540 with Snap! Raise to completely fund their entire program. Parents and participants did not have to pay anything out of pocket. This money covered team trips, uniforms, and scholarships. Students who might not have been able to afford to be part of the JROTC program were invite to participate though scholarships paid for by this fundraiser!
There will always be a reason to fundraise. East Forsyth High School football team raised $17,000 for the season, including uniforms, travel, new equipment and reconditioning our helmets. This clearly paid off because these boys won the State Championship! (Congrats). What’s crazy though is the State Champion rings have to be purchased from the teams own funds. Again, this football team turned to their fans, supporters, and communities to raise money to purchase their hard earned rings, raising enough to cover the rings, and a bit extra to put towards the growth of their next season.
